TAFNEX™ offers a wide range
of processing possibilities.
Because of the thermoplastic matrix system and full impregnation very short cycle times can be achieved. The process only needs pressure and temperature. This makes it possible to combine the UD Tape with known thermoplastic processes. The following four processes are the common methods to process UD tapes like TAFNEX™:
